Step-by-Step Barcode Label Printing Guide
Add Products to Your Inventory
Open LogBook and navigate to the Items tab. Add each product with its name, selling price (MRP), and barcode number. If the product packaging already has a barcode, you can scan it with your phone camera to auto-fill the barcode field. LogBook generates Code-128 barcodes.
Switch Printer to Label Mode
If you're using a PeriPeri BT-58L or BT-582, the printer needs to be in Label Mode (TSPL firmware). Triple-press the Feed button within 1 second to switch from Receipt Mode (continuous paper) to Label Mode (die-cut stickers). Load your label roll into the printer.
Open Label Printer and Select Size
From the menu, navigate to Label Printer. Select your label size preset (2-inch Standard, 2-inch Mini, 3-inch Large, or Jewelry Tag). Choose your roll type: Die-Cut (pre-cut labels with gaps) or Continuous (gapless roll with cut lines).
Select Items and Print Multiple Copies
Search and select the products you want to print labels for. Set the number of copies per item (e.g., 50 copies of "Colgate Toothpaste" barcode sticker). Tap Print Labels. The printer outputs sequential barcode stickers with product name, MRP, and scannable Code-128 barcode.
